Make and Model:
BMW 630d xDrive M Sport GT
Engine Size:
3.0 Diesel
Overview:
The 6 Series GT is an executive looking car and doesn’t disappoint on any level. It looks and feels like an expensive BMW should. Massive boot and roomy inside.
Averaging 38 mpg according to the cars onboard computer however I seemed to get high 40’s whilst cruising on the motorway
First Impressions – Exterior:
A great looking, sportyish exec car. This one was a lighter black with nice 19” alloys
First Impressions – Interior:
This particular car was well, spec’d. It felt luxurious and room inside. The electric adjustable white leather extra padded seats were very comfortable on a long journey. Heated seats in rear also a nice touch.
Entertainment screens were enjoyed by the kids who felt they were being chauffeured not driven. Lots of room.
360 parking cameras were great and the zoom function as you got close to your object was a nice touch.
Performance:
It’s a pleasure to drive when cruising although it’s a big old beast for cornering, especially on tight country lanes. The engine is nice and quiet and the ride overall is smooth and comfortable.
Practicality:
A nice amount of leg room in the rear and plenty of boot space to fit a number of golf bags or suitcases and then some!!
Rivals:
Audi A7 or Mercedes CLS
Overall Thoughts:
Love this car. Looks good on the outside, looks luxurious on the inside and the ride is smooth and quiet. Economical on those long motorway journeys maybe not so in and around town.
